Should we really worry about the climate change

yes It is really important to worry about the climate change because "human activities" are the biggest factor for it thus creating crisis for people and nature around the world. Extreme weather conditions such as wildfires, hurricanes, heat waves have caused due to it. It's a complex scientific process that has become so hard for the climate scientists to understand it fully.Over the past 10 years there has been a scientific consensus over it and it has been deducted that "human activities" is the key factor to it and technology has grown even much stronger and it has become more easy for the scientists to create exact models to understand and to predict planetary shifts. We are linked scientifically to it, creating more waste and causing more greenhouse gases that's the reason why should we worry about the climate change.

Emission of Greenhouse gases

Green house gas effect has been a major cause for climate change since mid-20th century. Various gases like carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and cholorofluorocarbons were released into the atmosphere lived for a long time thus trapping heat in the earth's atmosphere not allowing it to escape into the space. Various activities like deforestation, burning of fossil fuels, soil cultivation and production of synthetic compounds have contributed largely in the production of harmful gases.

Melting of Glaciers

Glaciers and permafrost are melting at a very large rate. Why it matters? It matters because more water creates more heat into the atmosphere. Additional greenhouse gases are released from the melting permafrost. When oceans become hotter, they become more acidic which can harm the sea creatures to a large extent. The animals become more endangered when Artic ice disappears as they depend on that landscape. The world's fresh water supply is reduced due to the melting of Glaciers because they store about 75% of the world's supply.

There's a scientific belief that infectious diseases are caused due to the melting permafrost which has threatened human life to a very large extent so we should really worry about the climate change.

Biodiversity loss

There has been a lot of factors which are responsible for the loss of biodiversity like Changing ecosystems which has affected the other living beings (plants and animals) who live on this earth. Apart from this pollution and land exploitation are also responsible for it.

Colony collapse disorder was first brought to the public in US back in 2006 after being observed for many years in the world is a big example of a threat to biodiversity and there were many factors responsible for it like changes to natural habitat, food poisoning that became a threat to the health of bees.

It directly affects human food supply because because bees pollinate most of our crops.

Now it's really the need to reduce climate change and what are the steps which must be taken to reduce it. If we are still worried about the climate change .There are some steps which must be taken to reduce it.

Food and Farming

Climate is a crucial predictor of crop growth, and climate change could lead to a 2-4% annual decline in US crop productivity, reverting to 40-year yields. As a result, consumers may expect higher prices for bread, cereal, and beef, as agricultural commodities are traded globally, with China having high demands.

Disease and Health

Climate, particularly temperature and precipitation, is a reliable predictor of insect-borne diseases, with a higher occurrence of dengue, Zika, and other mosquito-borne diseases in the Southeast and tick-borne diseases like Lyme disease in the Northeast. High CO2 levels also increase the virulence of poison ivy.

Immigration causes

The author predicts a surge in global migration from Africa and the Middle East due to drought, crop failures, and famine, putting pressure on European and US immigration policies. They question whether we should simply let these people starve due to changing climates. Tom Friedman's documentary, Years of Living Dangerously, provides a poignant account of these ongoing immigration pressures.

Forest fires and Droughts

Warmer temperatures increase evaporation, leading to increased land surface drying, increasing forest fires, rising expenses to combat them, and potentially increasing the price of forest products and housing in a hotter, drier future.

Steps to reduce climate change

There must be some steps which must be taken on an individual level to reduce climate change

1. reduction in use of plastic bags.

2.less use of vehicles which run on petrol and diesel.

3. use of electric vehicles.

4. Save energy at home by using LED light bulbs and energy efficient electric appliances.

5. Protect the oceans.

6. Eat less meat.

7. Protect green spaces.

8. Plant more trees as it absorbs carbon dioxide (CO^2).

Thus we need to understand and work for the betterment of our planet. It doesn't matter where you live , you will be affected so be ready for it and start your journey towards green life.

Is climate change leading to health issues ?

Yes climate change is impacting the health of a person in a number of ways including illness and death due to frequently  extreme weather events like storms, heat waves and floods, food systems disruptions, increase in water- and - vector borne diseases and mental issues.

Can we ever stop climate change ?

Climate change can't be stopped but it can be slowed to some extent. In order to avoid the worst consequences of  climate change we need to reach "net zero" carbon emissions by 2050. Net zero means that on balance no more carbon can be dumped into the atmosphere when taken out.

Why is it important to know about climate change ?

Climate change is so important to know because it has become hard for humans and wild animals to survive because of it.Frequent and more intense droughts, storms, heat waves, melting glaciers and warming oceans can directly harm animals and can destroy their habitats and can greatly affect the human population.

Can climate change cause hair loss ?

Have you ever been worried about climate change that it can cause hair loss
The answer is absolutely yes it can cause hair loss because of the stress produced in the scalp of hair due to the change in temperature.
