Renewable resources are the resources that can be used repeatedly and does not run out because it's naturally replaced such as solar, wind, hydro, geothermal and biomass energy.

Now the question is why renewable energy is important. It is important because it :

1. Helps Environment

Renewable energy reduces the effect of fossil fuels on local ecosystems.

2. Benefits Economy

Renewable energy can bring stability to the energy prices by increasing the number of sources of energy used to meet demand.

3. Improves public health

Air and water pollution produced by natural gas production and coal aren't emitted by clean energy technologies.

4. Provides security

Multiple energy sources can also provide reliability because if production dips in natural gas , other energy sources, like solar, wind and hydro can pick up the slack.

5. Supports Job Growth

Renewable energy is labor intensive and can provide a significant amount of job growth.

Renewable energy generates energy that produces no green house gas emissions from fossil fuels and reduces some type of pollution(caused due to the release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere from fossil fuels like coal and other non-renewable resources) . They have the potential to replace non-renewable,finite resources in the production of energy.

Importance of renewable energy for future

Renewable energy is important for the future because it doesn't emit greenhouse gases in energy generation processes, making them the cleanest, most feasible solution to prevent environmental degradation.
